Reform UK Launches London Mayoral Election Bid with Fresh Leadership
Reform UK party leader, Nigel Farage, has announced Laila Cunningham as the candidate of their party to run for the position of the mayor of the city of London. This marks an important milestone in the expansion of the Reform UK political influence into the city. The Reform UK political party has now become another contender in the mayor of the city of London contest.
Farage said: “London is facing increasing problems: more crime, lack of public confidence, and stretched public services. What it needs is a new direction. Currently, she is a councillor for the City of Westminster. She joined Reform UK after resigning from the position of a member of the Conservative Party.
